A newly established business services venue in East Perth has gone beyond the normal commitment to art with a few paintings here and there, and agreed to host an exhibition every six weeks in partnership with online art gallery Interactive Arts.

My Headquarters doubles as a members club and boasts meeting rooms, a business lounge and office space for lease, and has embraced the local art world to create a sense of energy and community for the establishment according to Director John Abbott.

“We are really keen to create a movement for the art world, to show what companies can do for artists.  We are keen to spearhead this movement and make a whole lot of noise about art, and show how effortless and effective it can be to contribute to the community ” Mr Abbott said.

The joint venture with Perth based online art gallery Interactive Arts will see the My Headquarters regularly transformed to showcase the best Perth has to offer in art, from abstract to landscape depiction and beyond.

When an exhibition is not being run from the venue, My Headquarters has made their entire establishment available to display works from Perth’s most talented through Interactive Arts, with paintings available for purchase by venue users and visitors.

“Anyone who uses our facilities has the opportunity to purchase the art or just simply connect with the art, and the artists themselves.”

“Our business is all about connection. We connect people with people and people with their passion, and of course we connect people with our ambient spaces complemented by the magnificent artwork of Perth’s finest creative minds,” Mr Abbott said.

Director Interactive Arts Fleur Allen said My Headquarters has breathed new life into Perth, and is the perfect venue for the upcoming exhibition Abstraction to be held from Thursday 20th August and feature a number of local artists.
