Brian Copping - Clarinet / Flute
Brian is an experienced musician active in Perth's classical and jazz worlds; currently leading The Windy City Jazzmen, Le Jazz Train and Trio Bella Musica and was a long term member of The Will Upson Big Band and The Raymond Long Orchestra including performances during the America's Cup festivities in Fremantle. He has performed with West Australian Symphony Orchestra, The Glenn Miller Reunion Band led by Ray McKinley (1985) and many appearances as a freelance jazz and cabaret musician with Perth bands on Saxophone, Flute and Clarinet; played Woodwind in many Shows, including Chicago, Annie, Barnham, Irene, and Cabaret. Recorded and backed national and international artists, including Sammy Davis Junior, Robert Goulet, and Peter Allen and Musical Director for 'The Perth Wildcats' for a season.
Rebecca Meegan-Lowe - Cello
Rebecca has wide experience playing for stage shows, weddings, musicals, private functions and classical concerts as well as performing as a soloist. She has a particular interest in working with clients to select music to best suit their tastes and needs. Rebecca also works as a freelance player in orchestral and chamber music in Perth and is much sought after as a cello teacher. She trained in Adelaide and Germany and holds a PhD (with Distinction) from the University of Western Australia.
Sophia Russell - Piano / Keyboard
Sophia has been a member of Trio Bella Musica for the past seven years, enjoying performances at a variety of corporate functions. Born in Russia, she studied with the state Tchaikovsky school of music, Music Pedagogy College in Belarus and F. Scorina's State University. And played with the state university's youth symphony Orchestra and traveled extensively performing throughout the republic of Belarus Russia at various concert halls. Sophia migrated to Australia in 1991 and studied at Monash University of music, Melbourne. She has taught and performed regularly since and is currently music teacher at John Paul Catholic college, Kalgoorlie Western Australia. |
