Eu4ria

Eu4ria (“Euphoria”), a new addition to the Perth chamber music scene, formed in late 2006 through a common passion for the string quartet repertoire and an eager desire to explore it. Prior to the formation of the quartet, the four members had performed together in various other ensembles and are experienced performers and music educators, each in their own right.

Eu4ria has given several recitals of works by Vivaldi, Mozart, Haydn, Beethoven and Dvorak, each with an enthusiasm for reinvigorating the original intimate nature of the chamber music genre: performances for friends, family and music lovers in close quarters

Eu4ria recently received an outstanding review from a visiting international music adjudicator and has been accepted to perform at the Mount Buller Chamber Music Summer School in January, 2008.
